Terms of Service

By commissioning me, you must agree to the following terms of service:

Payment:

Payments are made through Paypal only. Currently I accept both USD and CAD, but if the dollar shifts more I may change this. Paypal has a built in converter, so you won’t have to worry much. Please do not include any additional notes as we will be discussing everything through e-mail.
I do request that you cover the paypal fees.

Generally I ask for the payment after I’ve finished the story, but before I’ve shown you the content. I will provide proof of completion if you request it. Do not send the payment in advance as I may not be able to do your commission.

Commission Procedure:

First, you send me an e-mail or a note with the characters you want written about, the type of commission, and any other information about the story that I may need. There may be a few back and forth information as I will likely ask about your characters, but please give me as much information as you can in the first e-mail so I can decide quickly whether or not I can take on your commission.
Do not send payment before I accept your request.

Once I send you a note saying the story is complete, then you send over the payment. I will provide proof of completion if you request it.

Depending on the commission, I will either note you with an in-progress draft or a complete commission. Either way, I will give you time to make any changes you want made. However, once the story is complete, I will only make changes once, and I will not make changes that result in rewriting the entire work. I don’t mind rewriting a passage, but I will not start from scratch or give refunds. Please be specific as you can with your character’s personalities so this does not happen. Generally, I will ask a lot of questions if I’m unsure.

Content:

Please refer to my Wills and Wont’s to find out if I will write what you want. If what you want is not listed, do not hesitate to ask.
However, I reserve the right to refuse your commission for any reason.

However, if you are ordering adult content, you must specifically state and agree that you are 18 or over and of age to receive this content. Generally you should be over 18 to have a paypal account, but I request that you reinforce this fact so that I am not selling pornography to minors or something.

Permissions:

I retain all rights to your commission unless you request something differently. Generally, I will only be posting it to DA or here simply for samples. I will not be reselling it to magazines or journals, nor will I be self-publishing it. If for some reason this occasion ever arose, I would contact you. Please state ahead of time if you do not want your story posted elsewhere.

While you’re welcome to pass your story along, it must be liked and credited back to me.

I do not give permissions for my works to be used commercially unless we discussed it beforehand, such as you’re using my story as fanfiction at the end of your graphic novel or something similar. You may not resell it without my written permission. You must discuss this with me before you resell it.
