This index lists all of my short (generally smutty) fanfiction for the television show, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. Honestly, I don’t think you’ll need to watch the show to understand or appreciate The Man from U.N.C.L.E. fanfiction. While I think the show is glorious, it’s definitely not for everyone, and it is likely fairly slow by today’s standards. The show is definitely worth a shot if you’re already watching older movies and television.
However, if you want a bit of spoiler-free backstory information to get the gist for this Man from UNCLE fanfiction, Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin are fellow Agents for the United Network Command for Law and Enforcement. Napoleon serves essentially as the American “James Bond” with Illya, his Russian colleague. Napoleon Solo oozes heterosexuality and generally woos the ladies, while Illya tends to woo the fans with his quiet nature, sarcasm, and cute bum. So they do a lot of spying together, saving each other’s butts, and also do a ridiculous amount of flirting that’s hard to ignore. They have terrific on-camera chemistry, and since the pair of agents are competitive, it’s easy to interpret a romance complete with jealously in the show. So it’s a lot of fun to slash, hence all this Man from UNCLE fanfiction. I suggest this youtube fan video to go along with the Man from UNCLE fanfiction to get a sense of their dynamic because I don’t think it can be explained fully without their body language. I’m sorry I’ve gotten myself obsessed with such an obscure fandom, so I hope you’re willing to tolerate scattered stories from this show. The Man from U.N.C.L.E. leads, Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin, are Guy and Nikolai‘s namesake. One of The Secret Agent and the Assassin‘s major inspirations is The Man from U.N.C.L.E., though I like to believe I managed to develop the characters and story away from their inspirations, and I think the below Man from UNCLE fanfiction differs from The Secret Agent and the Assassin and feels like its own separate universe, and it’s probably why I keep writing more Man from UNCLE fanfiction.
